Car repair shops are continuously assessed through mystery shopping. In collaboration with a vehicle owner (test participant), TÜV Rheinland inspects every authorised Toyota repair shop reported by a customer against relevant standards, based on an inspection or maintenance service. The system must therefore contain data on test participants and test vehicles that can be linked to the audit. Prior to the audit, additional information is sent to the test participant, including a questionnaire on customer satisfaction. The evaluation ultimately yields a percentage score with a predefined pass mark.

Process

At the start of a test phase, the locations—including the sales structure(s)—are imported into auditBus and populated with blank questionnaires. The questionnaires are then successively linked to test subjects or test vehicles, a test subject agreement is drawn up, and the case is assigned to an expert. Once the auditor has arranged an appointment with the workshop and the test subject, the audit is carried out.

Toyota Germany downloads the results as and when required (usually daily) via an API as a JSON file for further processing.
